Don Christie
Chairman and Non-Executive Director
After regulatory roles with the predecessors of ASIC, Mr Christie was Managing Director of Equity Trustees Ltd, a former President of the Australian Trustees Corporations Associations and previously Chairman of VPH Limited.
He is currently a Director of Australian Public Trustees Ltd (a manager of unlisted property trusts) and, a member of Market Supervision, Quotation Appeals Committees and the Appeals Tribunal for Australian Pacific Exchange Ltd. -
John P Pereira
Chief Executive Officer
After an extensive career encompassing funds management, banking and law, Mr Pereira joined Burdett Buckeridge Young Ltd (BBY) where he held positions of Head of Private Advisory and Head of Corporate Finance. He formed Alchemy Corporate Advisors Pty Ltd jointly with BBY to promote corporate advisory and capital raising for small/mid cap clients. After leaving BBY he established Tristar Corporate Advisors Pty Ltd providing corporate advice to a range of private and ASX Listed companies.
Mr Pereira has created Olympus Funds Management Pty Ltd to offer a range of investment opportunities in alternative markets. India Equities Fund Limited is the first of such opportunities. -
David Carruthers
Non-Executive Director
During his career with BP Finance, Mr Carruthers was CFO for the global operations based in London and the European Regional CEO based in Brussels. On returning to Australia he was Managing Director of Treasury Corporation of Victoria and coordinated management of A$29 billion of privatisation proceeds.
More recently, he has provided advisory services in financial risk management to clients in the Asia-Pacific region and currently manages the corporate finance division of Tristar Corporate Advisors. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Trident Energy Limited. -
Cliff Clayton
Non-Executive Director
During a 25 year career with Perpetual Trustees, Mr Clayton acquired substantial experience of operational and compliance aspects of funds management. He has subsequently applied this experience to the Compliance Committees of Affinity Funds Management, Australian Public Trustees Ltd, Automotive Components Ltd, Ceramic Funds Management Ltd, Drapac Ltd, Legg Mason, Lowell Capital Ltd and Mellon Global Investments Ltd.
Mr Clayton currently holds the positions of Director of the Coles Employee Share Plan, Director AXA GESP Ltd. He was formerly a Director of Perpetual Trustees Victoria Ltd and MacarthurCook Investment Managers Ltd, where he was also chairman of the Due Diligence Committee.
